We were blessed to find Emma and Val’s Home. And it is a Home. I got to know the other residents and their families who were constantly there and truly it felt like a loving family. I spent hours talking to Emma who is a real treasure to this world. They both cared for my mom as if she was their mom. Even more, they are experienced at knowing what comes next for the elderly. So in that way, it was better for her healthcare because they knew exactly how to handle her. It was so comforting to know that she was well cared for. That you could always talk to them about her needs and condition. They did their very best to make what she could eat and more importantly what she liked to eat. They sat up with her all night when she needed it. They prayed with her and gave her the utmost comfort in her last days. Life is happening here! AND it feels like home! Emma, her family AND the staff got to know my father-in law. He was part of the family. I felt completely comfortable coming and going any time I wanted to visit. The grounds are perfectly located in town but hidden in a in this wonderful subdivision. Emma & Val have been a gift from above for our family. Our grandmother who has always been the rock of our family, recently had a decline in health.
